FABRICATION

WE MANUFACTURE:

  • TDF System
  • Slip and Drive System
  • Round Pipe System
  • Crimp Connection System

Transverse Duct Flange

TDF Duct System works by Roll forming sealable flanges on transverse duct ends during the manufacturing process. The TDF flange, formed on the machine's left-hand auxiliary, has unique, Snap-on corners that eliminate spot welding. In addition, we provide corners, clips, and gasket tapes.
ADVANTAGES:The fabrication standards of the TDF system allow the use of thinner gauges. For example, for a static pressure of2' you can use gauge #26 in ducts of 60".
The difference of sheet consumption is very significant. Example gauge # 26 represents a 27.6% less weight than gauge #24(lbs/sq feet), same percentage from gauge# 24 to gauge #22. saving 49%!)
Build up. TDF ducts can be assemble in floor and elevate various at the same time, in traditional ducts this is not possible because the slip and drive can be harmed when transported and must be build up when elevated duct by duct.
Modification and Changes. the TDF ducts can be assembled and separated without damaging.

Slip and Drive System

Slip & Drive Duct— The most common transverse (end to end) connection for commercial HVAC Duct. The Drive Cleat is secured to the 360 degree flanged section on left (formed by a Cleatbender or Drive Turn machine). The Flat S Lock is hammered onto the section on right. For most low and medium pressure jobs, Duct Slip and Drive connections meet SMACNA standardsSlip and Drive Duct is the most common type of rectangular ductwork. Even the largest Duct fab shops will tell you that Slip and Drive duct accounts for a greater percentage than the TDC/F and Ductmate flanged duct they produce.

Crimp Connection

The most common connection method used in PEX installation is the “Crimp” method. This process involves sliding a ribbed fitting into the PEX tube and crimping a seal ring around the connection point. These rings are typically made of copper, but may be found in plastic as well as brass.
